Armstrong County museum presentation on Depression era clothing
Learn about the Depression era and how flour and sugar sacks were part of the thrifty time period next weekend in Kittanning.
A presentation on how the sacks were used for clothing, curtains and more will be given from 1 to 2 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Armstrong County Historical Museum, 300 N. McKean St., Kittanning.
Parking is free along Vine and North McKean streets and in the back of the museum via the North Grant Avenue entrance.
