Albert J. Scheller, 80, of Evans City, passed away at his residence on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, of natural causes.

Born June 21,1943, in Bellevue, Allegheny County, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Stella Przeklassa Scheller.

In 2005, he retired from the Plumbers Local 27 in Pittsburgh.

Albert enjoyed traveling, hunting, NASCAR and dirt-track racing.

He is survived by his children Michael Scheller of Butler, Patricia (Robert) Perine of Zelienople, and Cindy (Keith) Edkins of Cranberry Township; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Joshua) Deckman, Derek Scheller, Tyler Scheller, Madison Edkins, Ethan Edkins and Abriella Perine; his great-grandson Hayden Deckman; siblings, William (Mary) Scheller of Butler, Richard Scheller of Zelienople, Thomas Scheller of Mars, and Mary (Leo) McLaughlin of Wexford; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen L. Scheller, whom he married July 25,1964, and who passed away on Nov. 5, 2021.

SCHELLER — Visitation for Albert J. Scheller, who died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.

Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Raisley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ben Oesterling officiating.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
