Lauren B. Johnston, 70, of Kane, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at UPMC Kane.

Born Jan. 30, 1953, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Bettye (Wilkes) Fithian. She married Dan Johnston, who survives, on Feb. 24, 1973, in Parker, Pa.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is one daughter, Stacey (Shannon) Powell, of Langhorne; one son, Bryan (Ruth Cortez) Johnston, of Clayton, N.C.; one brother, Bradley (Kathy) Fithian, of Russell; four grandchildren, Sydney, Shaelee, Stone and Zellie; and several nieces and nephews.

JOHNSTON — Friends of Lauren B. Johnston, who died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, are invited to attend a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, and again from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at CUMMINGS FUNERAL HOME, 151 Greeves St., Kane, Pa. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Calvin Cook officiating.
