BookFest will return to the Butler Farm Show grounds from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Friday, Sept. 22, to Monday, Sept. 25, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The sale’s 150,000 discounted books, DVDs, CDs and LPs will fill two exhibit halls at the farm show grounds. Toys, puzzles, household items and other treasures will be sold at the event.

Tickets for 31 raffle baskets at the three libraries partnering with the BookFest — South Butler, Prospect and Slippery Rock — will be available along with a meat raffle, Steelers ticket raffle, fall-themed basket raffle and a quilt raffle.

A Local Author Showcase on Saturday will support local writers, and a small play area will be available for children.

There is no admission fee for the event, which supports the three local libraries.
