Kevin Turner
Kevin Lee Turner, 61, of Connoquenessing, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, at Butler Memorial Hospital from pneumonia.
He was born May 20, 1962, to the late Esther (Snow) and Roy Turner.
Kevin was employed at Penn United Technologies in Saxonburg at the time of his death. He loved working around the yard and in the house but loved dirt track racing the most, especially big block modifieds, which his nephew, Mike Turner, drives.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife, Mary Turner, whom he married Sept. 25, 2021; two stepdaughters, Rily (Maddie Fields) Rodgers and Lasey Rodgers, both of Butler; one stepson, Bret (Carla) Minor of Alaska; his nephew, who was like a son, Mike (DeAnne Byers) Turner of Herman, Pa.; one granddaughter, Haisley Minor of Alaska; one sister, Susan (Steve) Rodgers of Butler; ex-mother-in-law, who was like his mom, Gloria, and the late Ben Minor, of Saxonburg; his in-laws, Carol and Darl Lumley of Butler and Larry Kelly of New Castle; along with many nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers, DeWayne and Larry.
TURNER — Friends of Kevin Lee Turner, who died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
We ask that people dress casual with your favorite race shirt.
An additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Edmundson officiating.
Private burial will take place at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
