Butler Hip Hop and Rap Community, a Butler-based nonprofit organization, is organizing a community event for everyone, but primarily for children.

The event will be Halloween-themed and will take place from noon until the sun goes down Oct. 21 at Butler Memorial Park. Activities will include face painting, small games, food carts and some vendors.

This is the first time Butler Hip Hop and Rap Community is organizing an event like this, according to an email from the president of the group, Everett Brandon Roy.
