SR’s Brown wins 3 in harness racing

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Patrikthepiranha, driven by Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown, won a $15,900 Conditioned Pace during harness racing action Saturday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Brown also drove I Love My MVP to victory in a $3,500 Conditioned Trot and Sandbetweenmytoes to a win in a $10,500 Conditioned Pace.

Lernerville forced to cancel show

BUFFALO TWP — Wet grounds and a rainy forecast forced Lernerville Speedway to cancel the Ken Schaltenbrand Memorial Saturday night.

The race was to feature the ULMS Late Models.

The Commonwealth Clash, with $50,000 going to the win, takes place Sept. 26 at Lernerville.
