Ronald Leroy “Ron” Crispin, 73, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, under the care of Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born Sept. 21, 1949, in Butler, he was the son of the late Russell and Florence (Foust) Crispin.

Ron was a friendly, gentle soul. He was always happy-go-lucky and would say hello to everyone he saw. Ron was a member of First Baptist Church in Butler. He loved watching TV and rooting for the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. He also enjoyed bowling for the Special Olympics and playing games on the computer.

Ron is survived by his sister, Violet (Lawrence, Sr.) Rihel, of Butler; his sister-in-law, Nancy Crispin, of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

CRISPIN — Friends of Ronald Leroy “Ron” Crispin, who died Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Maitland, of First Baptist Church in Butler, officiating.
