Mark Bollinger

Mark R. Bollinger, 60, of Elk County, formerly of Freeport, passed away on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023.

He was born in Natrona Heights on Dec. 7, 1962, to the late Wayne and Sara (Gumbert) Bollinger.

After graduating from Freeport High School Mark worked for Giant Eagle Corp. for numerous years.

He was known for being a good man that would help anyone out. Mark loved his dog, Bella, and to hunt, fish, ride quads and being outdoors. He was a member of the Sarver Vets Club and Freeport Eagles. Mark's favorite pastime was shooting pool, he even competed across the country and in Las Vegas competitions. He was taught from an early age and always excelled at it. Mark was loved and will be forever missed.

Mark was the brother of Beth (Mark) Hawk, Roland (Maryanne) Bollinger and Deb Fitzpatrick; and uncle of Autumn (Matt) Schaeffer, Tyler (Jess) Hawk, Randy (Ashley) Bollinger and Justin (Morgan) Bollinger.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Bollinger.

BOLLINGER — Family and friends of Mark R. Bollinger, who died Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023 at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
