Schiebel

Neal Schiebel, 69, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.

Neal was born in Butler, on July 3, 1954, to the late Kenneth G. and Loretta (Cypher) Schiebel.

He loved to hunt and be outside. He also loved to play cards, especially poker, with his family. Neal also enjoyed the Christmas season. He is now at peace being home with our Savior, his mom and dad and his other family who have passed.

Neal is survived by his siblings, Joan Miller and Roy (Gerry) Schiebel; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Schiebel and Kathie Schiebel; and his caregiver and special friend, Diane Hilderbrand.

Along with his parents, Neal was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his six brothers, Richard, George, Kenneth S., Joseph, John and Alan.

SCHIEBEL — Family and friends of Neal Schiebel, who died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Guests will meet at 10 a.m. Friday for a Mass of Christian burial at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary’s of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Herman. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. Mary’s of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church.
