Prospect historical group to discuss Isle
The Prospect Area Preservation Society, 383 Main St., Prospect, will hold an informal discussion on the Village of Isle from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27.
Isle was a tiny, unincorporated community that was abandoned to make way for Moraine State Park and the rerouting of Route 422 to accommodate the park and Lake Arthur.
Those who are interested or who have information to share on Isle are welcome to attend the free event.
