Emilie Dixon, 71, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023.

She was born in Pittsburgh, on Aug. 20, 1951, to the late Gene and Carole (Graham) Hanlin.

After serving her country honorably in the U.S. Army, Emilie went on to nursing school and retired from MSA. She was known for being loving, caring and helping people. She was also an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 32 years.

Emilie is survived by her son; her best friend, Raeann Beistel; and her dog, Trixie.

DIXON — Family and friends of Emilie Dixon, who died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
