A Penn State Master Gardener will offer a free presentation on composting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at the South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Kathy Allen will present ways to recycle lawn, leaf and tree clippings, plus kitchen waste, into rich compost to be used when planting or improving garden and flower beds.

Refreshments and an opportunity to win a door prize will be available.
