Two injured after multi-vehicle collision on Meridian Road
Two drivers were injured as a result of a two-car collision that took place Friday morning, Aug. 18, on Meridian Road in Butler Township, according to police.
Police said Dennis Schlott, 61, of Carnegie, ran a red light while traveling north on Meridian Road and his Dodge Ram pickup collided with a Honda SUV driven by 72-year-old Joyce Mock of Renfrew at Meridian Road’s intersection with Whitestown Road.
Schlott’s SUV rolled into a metal fence as a result of the crash, and he had to be extricated from the vehicle, police said.
Both were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital. Schlott reportedly suffered facial injuries of unknown severity. Mock suffered a leg injury, also of unknown severity.
