The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Aug. 9 — Donald P. Anthony, 36, of Sligo, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said a hypodermic needle in his possession punctured an officer while he was being arrested.

Aug. 9 — Nicole L. Atkinson, 32, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she took $1,900 from a residence.

Aug. 9 — Corey L. Hendrickson, 18, of Richmond, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanors simple assault and disorderly conduct and summary harassment. Police said he pushed someone to the ground and pointed a gun at them.

Aug. 9 — Norman K. Young, 83, of Hilliards, was charged with misdemeanor theft and summary harassment. Police said he took a pickaxe.

Aug. 9 — Tori A. Corousu, 35, of Home, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said she answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Rural King in Center Township.

Aug. 9 — Michael W. McCleary, 63, of Zelienople, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Rural King in Center Township.

Aug. 9 — James P. Foguth, 51, of Mars, was charged with a false statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Sportsman’s Supply in Summit Township.

Aug. 8 — Theodore T. Prorok, 30, of Harrisville, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped him on Annisville Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his system. Prorok also was found with a small amount of marijuana, police said.
