Thanks for storing circus
I wish to thank the Butler Eagle for storing my father's circus. Originally, Ron Vodenichar was contacted to store the circus after Bob Brandon's death. I believe it was he who arranged for it to be stored there.
The article that appeared in the Aug. 3 issue of the Butler Eagle by Irina Bucur about the Jay Bee Circus was well-written, and I am glad the circus will be available for the public to view in the near future. My dad was always afraid it would be stored somewhere where it couldn't be seen.
Also, I wish to thank all those whose names appeared in the article regarding the circus for helping to restore it and to the many others who supported its move back to Butler and its restoration.
A special thanks to Pat Collins, who has always been supportive of trying to find the right home for the circus.
This thank-you letter to the Eagle is long overdue, as is this public expression of gratitude to all those who have played a part in getting the Jay Bee Circus restored and displayed.
I might add that I see a small sign that my father painted for the Butler Eagle in the upper left of the photo about Butler Eagle Parking only.
