It has been 25 years since you passed away;

And I still think of you each and every day.

From the time I get up, till I go to bed;

All memories of you, go through my head.

Wish I could see your smile one more time;

To feel your hands enclosed in mine.

To give you a hug or a loving kiss.

These are the things I really miss.

I hope you can hear me, when I talk to you;

Which is something I often do.

Just know I keep you deep in my heart;

That way I know we are never apart.
