Starting Monday, Aug. 7, contractors will be replacing gas lines on multiple roads across Zelienople. This will require the roads to be excavated down the middle to make way for the line replacement.

Therefore, the roads will be closed to both traffic and parking during the course of the construction, which takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The line replacement will take place on West Northview Drive, North Clay Drive, North Jefferson Street, and a section of West Grandview Avenue stretching from Main Street to Jefferson Street.

According to a social media post from the Zelienople Police Department, the project is expected to take “several months” to complete, and the contractors will be working on it in sections.
