Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

July 19 — Kaitlyn E. Martin, 24, of Kittanning, was charged with misdemeanor fraud. Police said she displayed false vehicle registration information.

Butler City

July 18 — Danielle K. Welch, 38, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found in possession of 10 stamp bags of suspected heroin, syringes and metal spoons.

Jackson Twp

July 20 — Laura A. Carper, 25, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI after police stopped her on Route 19. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.139%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Middlesex Twp

July 18 — John F. Eckroth, 60, of Wintersville, Ohio, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after he crashed his vehicle on Browns Hill Road. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.242%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Penn Twp

July 18 — Michael F. Curran, 31, of Butler, was charged with felony criminal mischief. Police said he attempted to start a fight and damaged three motorcycles by pushing them over at McBride Station.

State police, Butler

July 20 — Richard A. Dematteis Jr., 59, of Boyers, was charged with felony theft and misdemeanor unauthorized use of motor vehicles. Police said he took a vehicle that wasn’t his.

July 19 — Christian R. Nawrocki Jr., 46, of Butler, was charged with felonies aggravated assault and strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he dragged someone down the stairs, choked them and threatened to kill them.

July 18 — Lloyd A. Gordon, 37, and Jules M. Williams, 43, both of McKeesport, were charged with felony theft. Police said they left Boscov’s in Center Township with $450 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

July 17 — Bruce A. Bryner, 39, of Butler, was charged with two counts of drug possession. Police said he was found in possession of suspected marijuana and a smoking pipe.

July 17 — Randall A. Peevey, 45, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found in possession of a stamp bag.

Zelienople

July 19 — John R. Talarico, 62, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Milton Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.125% In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
