Bish 100th birthday
Maurice “Pete” Bish, of Zelienople, formerly of Middlesex Township, celebrated his 100th birthday on July 13 at a luncheon at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.
Bish was born on July 13, 1923, in Butler.
He was married to Marjorie Cruikshank Bish. She is deceased.
Bish is retired from the former Castle Rubber Company in East Butler, where he was a foreman.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a medic in the Pacific Theater.
Bish is a member of the Connoquenessing United Methodist Church in Connoquenessing.
He is a member of the Republican Party and the National Rifle Association.
