Harbison Road in Middlesex Twp to close July 31
As part of the Balls Bend Safety Improvement Project, Harbison Road in Middlesex Township will close on Monday.
The road is expected to stay closed for 42 days and reopen on Sept. 11. Construction crews will give Harbison Road a new “jug handle” — a ramp that allows drivers to make turns without disrupting the flow of traffic.
The closed section of road will be between the intersection of State Route 228 and Forsythe Road.
The safety improvement project, led by Independence Excavating of Independence, Ohio, is expected to finish by January 2025 and is estimated to cost $26.5 million.
