Terry Barger

Terry J. “Ted” Barger, 72, of Parker Township, Parker, Pa., passed away early Monday morning, July 24, 2023, at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Butler, on Dec. 29, 1950, he was the son of the late Clair L. and Martha Shakley Barger.

Ted was a graduate of Fairview Township-Karns City High School, and had been a machinist at Sonneborne in Petrolia, from which he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Keagle Barger; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bret “Doug” and Colleen Barger, of Chicora.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth “Skip” Barger, who was killed in action in Vietnam in 1971.

BARGER — Per his request, there will be no visitation or funeral for Terry J. “Ted” Barger, who died Monday, July 24, 2023. A family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, family requests any memorials to family for their distribution.

Arrangements are under the direction of H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Wayne St., Parker.
