A pair of Butler High School graduates have been named as recipients of 2023 Rosanne Cavalero and Jane Cavalero Scholarships.

Maisy Gibson, who will receive $7,050, is the daughter of Michael and Candace Gibson of Butler.

Gibson will study aerospace engineering at the University of Tennessee in the fall.

Jack Teff also will receive $7,050. He is the son of Cody and Nina Teff of Renfrew.

Teff will study computer engineering at Virginia Tech.

The scholarships, which are distributed through the Pittsburgh Foundation, provide scholarships in equal amounts to the male and female Butler high graduates who achieved the highest cumulative grade point average and who plan to pursue education after high school.
