Mars Athletic Complex closing for project

ADAMS TWP — The Mars Athletic Complex will be closed from Monday through Aug. 7 during a track replacement project.

Crews will be resurfacing the track and all rubberized areas within the stadium. The Complex will be closed to the public during this time.

RUSH series invade Lernerville Friday

BUFFALO TWP — RUSH Sprint cars, Modifieds and Late Models will visit Lernerville Speedway Friday night. They will be joined by the Fab4 Late Models.

Jason Wonderling leads the RUSH Late Model Series by 49 points over his brother, Mike Wonderling. Max Blair won the 50-lap, $25,000 feature at Lernerville on June 24.

Chad Ruhlman has been dominating the RUSH Sprint Series with six feature wins in nine races. John Mollick earned a RUSH Sprint Series win earlier this season at the Sarver oval.

Kole Holden and Ayden Cipriano are tied for the RUSH Modified series points lead. In the Fab4 Late Models,Tyler Dietz has an 18-point lead on John Garvin Jr.

Grandstands open at 5 p.m. Friday with racing set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
