Rotary Park is closed for renovations.
Contractor W.K. Thomas began work Monday on a project that will install sidewalks, additional parking, a shelter and eventually new playground equipment. The construction is expected to last about three weeks, according to Butler City Council.
The park also will get accessibility improvements compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant.
