Those interested in attending the 2023 Power of the Purse event should get their tickets as soon as possible.

Officials at Good Samaritan Hospice, the branch of Concordia Lutheran Ministries that benefits from the fundraiser, have announced that more than 25% of in-person tickets for the September event have been sold.

Power of the Purse will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at The Mansion, 141 Mansion Lane, Butler.

Tickets are $45, and only 200 in-person tickets are available.

Each ticket, whether in-person and non-attending, includes a chance to win one of 10 designer handbags plus the opportunity to win a Burberry Check Medium Freya Tote worth more than $1,900.

Many other opportunities to win will be featured at the event.

All proceeds benefit Good Samaritan Hospice Youth Bereavement Care, which provides free support to youth who have been affected by the death of a loved one.
