Kathleen Steeb
Kathleen Rita “Katie” (Milbert) Steeb, 88, of Zelienople, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, while under the care of the AHN Hospital in Wexford.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1934, in Cranberry Township on the Milbert family farm, which is now part of Seven Fields. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Louise Fisher Milbert.
Katie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clair J. Steeb.
She is survived by her three children, Gary (Pam) Steeb, Carol (Glenn) Wack and Larry Steeb; her five grandchildren, Craig Steeb, Carley Delullo, Chloe Kilby, Miranda Crum and Jesse Wack; her great-grandchildren, Cash and Rhett Delullo, and one on the way; and her brother, Paul (Judy) Milbert.
Katie was a long-time member of St. Gregory Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Harmony Historical Society, the Pennsylvania Farmer Association and the Butler County Farm Bureau. Katie enjoyed working on the family farm, which included raising hogs and beef and dairy cattle among various other farm animals throughout the years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and canning. Above all, Katie was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
STEEB — Friends of Kathleen Rita “Katie” (Milbert) Steeb, who died Thursday, June 29, 2023, will be received for visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
She will be laid to rest with her husband at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Katie’s honor to the Harmony Historical Society.
