Betty Gayle Troutman Murin, 74, of Butler, passed away, Thursday evening, June 22, 2023, while at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born March 23, 1949, in Butler and was the daughter of the late James Troutman.

Betty was a nurse’s aide, retiring from Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She then had been a crossing guard at Broad Street School and also Emily Britain School. She enjoyed being around people and was an active volunteer for the CB Rangers.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Jon) Snyder; and two grandchildren, Levi and Adam.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Murin.
