Minehart

A. Kathryn “Kathy” Minehart, 92, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at New Haven Court at Clearview.

She was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Butler, the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Stella (Swope) Cranmer.

She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of America. She graduated from Butler Memorial Hospital nursing school and had worked as a registered nurse at the BMH for 25 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen J. Minehart of Butler; two sons, Mark H. (Janet) Minehart of Butler and Karl Minehart of Ford City; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna L. Holbein of West Sunbury; a sister-in-law, Lois Cranmer of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold J. Minehart; and a granddaughter, Christy Costa.

MINEHART — Memorial services for A. Kathryn “Kathy” Minehart, who died June 20, 2023, will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Westminster PCA, 420 N. Main St., Butler.

Private interment will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
