SR’s Galcik Region 2 Player of Year

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock High School senior third baseman Brett Galcik has been named District 10, Region 2 Baseball Player of the Year.

Galcik hit well over .400 this season and led the Rockets in home runs and RBI.

Pitcher-designated hitter Dylan Gordon and outfielder Sal Mineo are other Slippery Rock players who made first team All-Region 2. First baseman Brody Galcik made second team.

In softball, Slippery Rock sophomore third baseman Ciana D’Antoni made second team All-Region 4.
