The following defendants were sentenced Tuesday, June 13, in Butler County Common Pleas Court by Judge Kelley Streib.

Kalin S. Snyder, 27, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $525, and complete 40 hours of community service and a victim impact panel after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence and careless driving filed by state police following a July 2, 2021, incident in Prospect.

Christopher Price, 50, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation and ordered to complete an anger management program and have a mental health evaluation after pleading guilty to charges of simple assault and harassment filed by state police following a Nov. 23, 2022, incident in Summit Township.

Noah Jacob Difrischia III, 39, of Prospect, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in prison, pay a $1,000 fine, and complete 40 hours of community service and a victim impact panel after pleading no contest to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Jan. 23, 2022, incident in Muddy Creek Township.

Nicole Lynn Atkinson, 32, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and pay restitution totaling $1,288 to Walmart after pleading guilty to retail theft charges in three cases. Butler Township police filed two of the cases following incidents on July 30 and Aug. 7, 2022. One case was filed by Cranberry Township police following a Dec. 11, 2021, incident.

Jamie Lynn McPherson, 40, of Butler, was fined $25 after pleading guilty to harassment charged filed by Butler city police following a May 15, 2022, incident.

Denise Lynn Platt, 31, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed by Butler city police following a June 15, 2022, incident.
