Gallagher

Shirley Gallagher, 88, of Cabot passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023. She was born in Butler on April 7, 1935 to the late Bernard Cumberland and Ruth (Christie) Hutchens.

After graduating from Butler High School in 1953 she worked at Hindman Farm Supply. She was loved and will be dearly missed.

Shirley was the beloved wife of George Gallagher since their marriage on Feb. 11, 1956; mother of Robert (Cynthia) Gallagher, Patricia (Timothy) Hankey; grandmother of Michael (Dena) Gallagher, Jonathan (Jessica) Gallagher, and Geoffrey Hankey; great grandmother of four and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister.

GALLAGHER — Funeral and burial for Shirley Gallagher, who died on June 11, 2023 are being held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
