Sharon L. Keller, 64, of Grove City, passed peacefully at home with her family on Monday, June 12, 2023.

Sharon was born in Butler, on Sept. 15, 1958, to James E. and Janet L. (Vurraro) Rider. She married Jeffrey Lynn Keller on Oct. 6, 2001.

She was raised in Chicora and was a graduate of Karns City High School in 1976.

Sharon graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science degree in education and later earned a master’s degree from Slippery Rock University.

She retired in 2015 from Grove City Area School District where she taught Title I as a reading specialist.

Previously, she taught in the Karns City Area School District.

Sharon was an active member of Transformation Church in Grove City.

She was a devoted wife and mother.

Sharon is survived by her husband Jeff; four children: Sara (Benjamin) Lenehan of Butler, Jarod (Emily) Shumaker of Parker, Chad (Amy) Shumaker of Butler, and Brian (Cassandra) Keller of Madras, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Tracy O’Connell and a brother, James “Daniel” (Lisa) Rider. She was preceded in death by her parents.

KELLER — The funeral service for Sharon L. Keller, who died Monday, June 12, 2023, will take place at Transformation Church, 120 S. Broad St., Grove City, on Thursday, June 15 at 11 a.m.

Visitation Hours will take place at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
