Franklin G. ‘Butch’ Lambert
Franklin G. “Butch” Lambert, 82, of Evans City passed away on Friday morning, June 9, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.
Born Jan. 8, 1941, in Callery, he was the son of the late Franklin J. and Margaret Stirk Lambert.
He was Protestant by faith.
He retired Dec. 31, 2002, after working 40 years for B&O Railroad (C&O and now CSX) in the signal department.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed playing golf and later pool.
He was preceded in death by his wife Faye Snyder Lambert on Sept. 1, 2015, and one daughter, Rachel.
Surviving are his daughter, Margery (David) Gabrielli of Cheswick; his sister, Marjorie (Charles) Burke of Harmony; his grandson, Daniel; and nieces and nephews.
LAMBERT — Franklin G. “Butch” Lambert, who died Friday, June 9, 2023, will be laid to rest with his wife and daughter in Evans City Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Evans City Library or to Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
