Jackson

Patricia A. Jackson, 80, formerly of Mars, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, while under the care of the Masonic Village of Sewickley.

Born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 7, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Walter “Red” Clark and Jean Taylor Clark

Patti was married to Wayne H. Jackson on June 13, 1964, he preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1982.

She was a member of Mars United Presbyterian church, where she served as both a deacon and an elder. She also was a former member of the church choir and an aid for the preschool. She was a member of Mars Chapter 271 Order of the Eastern Star and was a past worthy matron and grand officer for the state of Pennsylvania.

Patti enjoyed bowling, reading and doing word searches.

She is survived by her two sons, David Jackson and his wife, Deb, and Jeffrey Jackson both of Mars; her grandchildren, Riley and Bailey; her brother, James Clark, and his wife, Linda, of York; brothers-in-law, Norman “Butch” Gray of Sarver, and Gary Jackson and his wife, Ellen, of Ellwood City; her sister-in-law, Betty McGaughey of Valencia; an uncle, Donald Bauerle, and his wife, Carm, of McKees Rocks; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister in-law, Susan Gray; and brother in-law, Bob McGaughey.

JACKSON — Friends of Patricia A. Jackson, who died Friday, June 9, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, with an Eastern Star service being held at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, with Pastor Brian Hauser officiating. Everyone please meet at the church.

Burial will be in the Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Cheswick.
