Portersville Christian School
The commencement ceremonies for Portersville Christian School, 343 E. Portersville Road, were held at 10 a.m. June 3 at the school.
The student speakers were valedictorian Anna Plank and salutatorian Abby Hoffer.
Anna is the daughter of Jason and Robin Plank of Slippery Rock.
She was senior class president, a member of student council, National Honor Society, the varsity archery and volleyball teams, and is involved in fine arts. Anna also earned highest honors on the honor roll, ACSI Academic Excellence Award and the PCS Extra Effort Award.
She plans to attend Grove City College to study elementary education and middle level science and English.
Abby Hoffer is the daughter of Steven and Colene Hoffer of Beaver Falls.
Abby was the treasurer on student council, a member of National Honor Society, varsity basketball team and high school chorus. She earned Highest Honors on the honor roll and ACSI Academic Excellence awards.
Abby plans to attend Geneva College and major in both actuarial and applied mathematics.
