Grove City High School

Grove City High School held its commencement ceremonies at 7 p.m. on June 1 at Forker Field in Grove City.

The class valedictorian was Molly Hohmann, daughter of Wayne and Pam Hohmann of Grove City.

Molly was involved in concert band, Global Scholars, marching band, theater, jazz band as trombone section leader, Interact Club as international outreach coordinator and National Honor Society. She has participated in academic games, Hometown High-Q as team captain, Math 24, Mercer County 4-H as president of Hams Club, Mercer County Teen Council as president, mock trial and Youngstown State University English Festival.

Upon graduation, Molly will attend the University of Findlay majoring in animal science with a preveterinarian focus.

The salutatorian was Christina Dunkerley, daughter of Ken and Becky Dunkerley of Mercer.

Christina was involved in marching band as a drum major, jazz band, Global Scholars, and Interact Club.

Upon graduation, Christina is taking a gap year to pursue an internship with Envision Miami.

The class officers were Alexander Holmes, president; Rylee Gorrell, vice president; Autumn Hurst, secretary; and Megan Parris, treasurer.
