The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced a detour on Contery Road that will take place from June 12 through Oct. 11 for a $1.3 million construction project replacing a bridge over Buffalo Run in Donegal Township.

Contery Road will be closed where it intersects with Rattigan Road on both sides of the bridge for the replacement of the existing structure carrying Contery Road over Buffalo Run with a precast reinforced box culvert and miscellaneous construction.

Drivers can follow signs for a detour that will be put in place.
