Dennis Crawford, 69 of Fairview passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023.

He was born in Kaylor, Pa. on Dec. 10, 1953, and was the son to the late Russell Sr. and Blanche Crawford.

Dennis served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. He was an avid follower of politics and enjoyed engaging in lively debate and discussion. He loved spending time with his family, gardening, being outdoors, motorcycles and cars.

Dennis was the father of Dennis Crawford Jr., Stacey (Chris) Rees, Kristin Crawford; stepfather of Amanda Marker and DeAnne Hoke; brother of Milton, Dan, Sam, Tim, Ruby and Nancy; grandfather of Crystal, Kari Ann, Angellic, Jonathon, Dominique, Cole, Logan and Lily; and great-grandfather of Gabriel, Owen, Maia, Zoffia, Jayce and Ariel.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Paul, Russell, Peg and Blanche “Cookie.”

CRAWFORD — A celebration of life for Dennis Crawford, who died Friday, June 2, 2023, will be held at 1 p.m. July 15, 2023, at the East Butler VFW for family and friends directly prior to the family reunion.

Services are by SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
