Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

May 22 — Benjamin L. Lechien, 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors use and possession of drug paraphernalia and summary public drunkenness. Police said he was found with three stamp bags of suspected drugs, a spoon and a needle.

Slippery Rock Boro

May 22 — Tony A. Dabney, 41, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he failed to pay Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Team for their ambulance services.

May 22 — Frankie L. Fosco, 32, of Erie, was charged with misdemeanors resisting arrest and driving under the influence after police stopped him April 10. Police said he showed signs of impairment and did not comply with officers orders.

May 22 — Julia A. Petrucci, 23, of Murrysville, Westmoreland County, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her on New Castle Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath test showed Petrucci’s blood alcohol content at 0.130%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

State police, Butler

May 22 — Roland H. Hembree III, 31, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he struck someone in the face and dragged them across the floor by their hair.

May 22 — Robert O. Emswiler Jr., 71, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after he crashed his vehicle on North Franklin Street, Prospect. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Emswiler’s blood alcohol content at 0.088%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

May 20 — Hunter W. Wilson, 22, of Indian Head, Fayette County, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with 18 grams of suspected marijuana.
