DeBacco

Dominic J. DeBacco Sr., 85, of Chicora, passed unexpectedly on Monday, May 29, 2023.

He was born on Feb. 20, 1938, in Brady’s Bend, to Paul and Grace DeBacco. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Dominic worked as a beautician and entrepreneur for more than 30 years in Slippery Rock. He was truly a self-made man.

He enjoyed playing the piano, cooking, and a good glass of wine with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and he was adored by everyone who met him.

He will be remembered by his loving wife of 63 years, Yvonne; his son, Dominic Jr., and his daughter-in-law, Stacy; as well as his three grandchildren and their spouses and three great-granddaughters.

DEBACCO — A celebration of life for Dominic J. DeBacco Sr., who died Monday, May 29, 2023, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Sons of Italy in Brady’s Bend.

Interment will be in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Sons of Italy 1484 Scholarship Fund, 758 Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the HILE FUNERAL HOME of Chicora.
