Boil Water advisory lifted in Marion Township
A boil advisory for Marion Township residents was lifted Thursday, May 25.
A malfunction in the water system earlier this month raised potassium levels and caused discoloration of public water.
A “do not consume” order was put into place May 20. The order was lifted May 22 and replaced with a boil advisory as a precaution, said Jason McBride, chairman of Marion Township supervisors.
This advisory did not affect people who use well water.
