Lauer

Jessica Marie (Harbison) Lauer, 37, of Cabot, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at her home.

Born July 11, 1985, in Butler, she was the daughter of Daniel J. Harbison and Connie J. (Doerr) Harbison.

Jessica was a 2003 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2006 graduate of Butler County Community College. She worked as a registered nurse for Allegheny General Hospital and QLS Sarver. Jessica was currently working at Ronald Gross Trucking. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. Jessica loved berry picking, sitting fireside and fishing, and she enjoyed her cats and chickens. Jessica will be remembered for her big, compassionate heart, her one-liners, sarcasm and perfectly timed movie quotes.

Surviving are her loving husband, Jason R. Lauer, whom she married July 13, 2019; her parents, Connie J. Harbison and Daniel J. Harbison of Sarver; her sister, Kristina L. (Christopher) Adler of Butler; her brother, Benjamin (Colleen) Harbison of Butler; stepsons, Theodore James Lauer of Cabot and Jesse Jordan Lauer of Cabot; nieces and nephew, Willow R. Adler, Wren A. Adler, Ruby R. Adler, Aurora J. Adler, Daisy E. Adler and Maverick J. Harbison; her grandparents, Ronald and Ruth Gross of Cabot, Doris Doerr of Sarver and George Harbison of Freeport; aunts and uncles, Carol and Tim Zang, Barry and Debi Gross, Ron and Elaine Gross, Alan and Molly Doerr, Jody Harbison and Mark and Diane Harbison; and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald Doerr and Betty Harbison; great- grandparents, Stella and Joe Jablonski, Ruth Bicker and Virginia Sosovicka; uncle, Bruce Harbison; and aunt, Cindy Harbison.

LAUER — Friends of Jessica Marie (Harbison) Lauer, who died Saturday, May 27, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A funeral service with be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
