Dietz picks up $2,000 payday
BUFFALO TWP — Tyler Dietz started in the sixth spot, but found himself in the lead by the eighth lap and went on to win the inaugural Bob Lambert Memorial Pro Stock feature Friday night at Lernerville Speedway.
The win was Dietz’s third of the season and netted him the $2,000 first-place check. He topped a field of 29 cars that included former Pro Stock Pandemonium and Steel City Stampede feature winners who combined, held more than 10 wins in extra purse events held at the speedway.
Dietz held off Cody Koteles to get the victory.
In other features, AJ Flick started fifth in Sprints and claimed the victory, passing Darin Gallagher on the final lap for his second win of the season. The 25-lap feature was completed without a caution flag.
Garrett Krummert picked up his first feature win in the Modifieds, coming from the sixth starting spot.
Jeremy Kornbau won the Allegheny Sprint Tour 305s feature. He came from the third starting spot.
Fab4 racing continues at Lernerville this Friday and will include a special appearance from the third annual Western Pennsylvania Sprint Speed Week. That feature will pay $3,000 to the winner.
