Vintage vehicles go vroom

Collectors showed off their antique steam equipment Saturday and Sunday at the annual Portersville Steam Show Spring Gas-Up, some of it dating to the late-19th century.
The best part is — most of the equipment still worked.
The Spring Gas-Up featured oil field equipment, tractors, train displays, a loom display, a flea market and more. It also featured tractor pull competitions, as well as “fun pulls.”
The Portersville Steam Show Summer Show will take place Aug. 3 through Aug. 6, and the Fall Fling takes place Oct. 7 and 8, according to the flyer for the Spring Gas-Up.
