Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

May 6 — Tommy J. Ogline, 44, of Mars, is charged with felony eluding police, misdemeanors driving under the influence and reckless endangerment. Police said they identified him as a driver that led a short chase on Route 228. Police said Ogline’s blood alcohol content was 0.133%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

May 3 — Phuc S. Liu, 50, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after he was stopped on Route 228. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and that a later blood test showed Liu’s blood alcohol content at 0.287%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

May 3 — Harry F. Gordon, 42, of Evans City, was charged with a misdemeanor of displaying a fraudulent inspection sticker on his vehicle.

Buffalo Twp

May 6 — Nicholas R. Perroz, 41, of Sarver, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he grabbed someone by the throat and punched another person.

Butler Twp

May 6 — Keith Garland, 61, of Tarentum, and Karen Venditto, 54, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at North Main Street Extension and Filbert Road. Police said Venditto rear-ended Garland’s motorcycle.

April 23 — Damon Wentzel, 30, of Lyndora, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police said he was waving a gun around.

State police, Butler

May 8 — Jesus E. Pacheco, 26, of Boyers, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at X-Ring Custom Gunsmithing in Connoquenessing Township.

May 8 — Jack H. Hartle, 68, of Butler, is charged with felony drug sales and misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped him on Glenn Avenue in Butler, and that field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later blood test showed traces of cocaine in his system. In Hartle’s vehicle, police said they found 14 bags of crack cocaine and crack pipes.

May 6 — Jacob I. Veatch, 25, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he punched someone.

May 5 — James C. Sheetz, 41, of Parker, and Christopher S. Lewis, 40, of Clarion, were charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said they engaged in an altercation at Sheetz in Allegheny Township.

May 2 — Rory M. Park, 38, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on South Benbrook Road, Center Township. Police said a field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and that a later blood draw showed traces of THC in Park’s blood.

May 2 — Micaiah R. Obrien, 22, of Clariton, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with THC wax and a smoking pipe.

May 2 — Jeffery S. Musthaf, 31, of Chicora, was charged with two counts of misdemeanors simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police said he was waving a gun around while intoxicated.

May 2 — Norman S. Young, 65, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on New Castle and South Duffy roads, Butler Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and that a later blood test showed Young’s blood alcohol content at 0.083%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

State police, Kittanning

May 4 — Eric B. Demko, 28, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found in possession of 189 grams of marijuana.
