Kathleen P. Cervone, 78, of Middlesex Township, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023. Born in Butler, on July 14, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Emma Petrovan Prusnak.

Kathleen was a registered nurse at Passavant Hospital in the operating room for many years. A dedicated follower of Christ, she was a longtime member of Allison Park Church, helped run several Bible studies, and was a GBS founder. Kathleen was a talented seamstress, making curtains, memorial blankets, and always in high demand from family and friends for alterations. Her life centered on her beloved family, as Kathleen could always be found at a grandchild’s sporting event, traveling to the beach or on vacation with her children, playing cards, puzzles, and games with grandchildren, or cooking for Sunday family dinners. She will be dearly missed.

She was the loving mother of Christopher Hasley (Lori), Craig Hasley (Nicole), Daryl Hasley (Kristin), Kelly Cervone, and Michael Cervone (Kim); sister of Josephine Monteleone (Joseph) and the late Mary Vecharella, Helen Portfilio, Agnes Smutney and Florence Danner; and dear grandmother of Ellena Hogan (Dale), Jackson Hasley, Aris Hasley, Reese Hasley, Dalton Hasley, Jeremiah Hasley, Aiden Hasley, Cameron Cervone and Lexi Cervone.

CERVONE — Friends of Kathleen P. Cervone, who died Saturday, May 13, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
