State police accused a Butler woman of failing to report multiple instances of sexual assault between a 14-year-old male and 3-year-old child in Clay Township.

Jennifer L. Wallace, 46, faces felony charges of failure to report and child endangerment related to incidents that occurred in 2021. The charges were filed Tuesday, May 9.

According to the affidavit, Wallace disclosed to staff of Sharon Regional Hospital that she witnessed two sexual assaults performed by the 14-year-old on the child.

The 14-year-old was interviewed and admitted to several inappropriate incidents, police said.

A preliminary hearing for Wallace has not been scheduled.
