Traffic along Route 228 West is backed up Friday afternoon, May 12, as emergency responders were dispatched to an accident reportedly near Quality Gardens in Adams Township.

According to 511, traffic is stopped from the intersection of Route 8 and Route 422 through Brickyard Road, just past Mars High School.

Early reports heard over emergency dispatch indicate a dump truck and a passenger vehicle collided.
