Johnston gets win against 51-1 odds

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Saucy Dancer, after beginning her career with 25 straight losses, was driven to victory by Evans City’s Shawn Johnston during harness racing action Wednesday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 3-year-old filly won a $9,000 Conditioned Pace. Gary Johnston of Evans City trains Saucy Dancer and owns the horse with Grace Wright of Butler.

Elsewhere on the card, Four Wide N Flyin scored a win for trainer Nathan Bresnahan of Butler. Michael Bresnahan and Rackel Bresnahan, both of Evans City, own the 3-year-old filly.
